There are currently no plans to close the original MovieStarPlanet.

As long as players continue to love and support the game—and we can keep it running safely and securely—we plan to keep it going.

Is MovieStarPlanet still being worked on?

Yes. A dedicated team is still working on the original game.

MovieStarPlanet was built using older technology, which means larger fixes and improvements can take time. Right now, the team’s main focus is making the game more stable, secure, and reliable.

The artists creating clothes, Pets, animations, and other content are a separate team, so new content can still arrive while that technical work continues.

We know it can feel quiet when improvements take time, but MovieStarPlanet hasn’t been abandoned.
